The Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden 11th Annual ART in the GARDEN 2021 | April 19-July 31, 2021
Meander over Garden boardwalks and down pathways through dappled shade cast by fresh greenscape, colorful blossoms and winged creatures of nature and spot … sculpture! Nature has been benign in recent months with Spring bringing renewal and the return of ART in the GARDEN with artistic expressions emphasizing harmony with nature. These works feature earth-friendly themes, including recycled and natural materials. Sculptures by local artists accent the natural beauty of the conservation site on Stock Island.
Sculpture creations by local artists and by groups of student artists are on display from April through July. The public is welcome daily from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Visitors to the Garden will have an opportunity to cast their votes for Best in Show and a panel will judge the student art work.
Social distancing protocols remain in place and there are no public restrooms.
CALL FOR ARTISTS: The Garden welcomes local artists to create and display sculptures that showcase a sense of nature using natural and recycled materials. The sculptures will be placed throughout the Garden and should be able to withstand wind and weather. Large format sculptures are welcome.
