Garden Guardians
Assist Garden staff by trimming, removing plant debris, weeding, watering, propagating, planting, labeling, mulching, composting, fertilizing and giving tours
Program coordinators
Help give classes and coordinate programs
Visitor center greeter
Greet visitors, present Garden information, collect admissions, run video presentation, assist in membership program, work on Garden events and activities
Office volunteer
Assist staff with office duties by labeling and sorting bulk mail, distributing garden brochures and flyers, filing, organizing, running errands, assisting with phone calls, contacting members, data entry, routine maintenance
Events volunteer
Assist board and staff with special events by collecting admissions and donations, seeking sponsorships, selling event and raffle tickets, answering phones, serving refreshments, setting up and taking down tables, chairs and supplies
Public relations volunteer
Assist in getting our message out to the community, aid in writing articles, delivering press releases and rack cards
Tour guide volunteer
Assist in giving tours of the garden to various groups and visitors
Education volunteer
Assist in planning and executing education programs for adults and children
Construction volunteer
Home improvement style: Assist staff with small repair jobs, paintingg, small construction projects for exhibits and events
