Desbiens Celebration of Life

Please join the Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden’s members and board of directors as they celebrate the life of Ms. Betty D. Desbiens. A patron of the Garden for decades, Ms. Betty was a tireless, hands-on volunteer and generous benefactor. One of the rare, freshwater ponds in the Garden is named for her. She was born in 1920 and died Sept. 24, 2023. Her living legacy is this significant garden and tropical forest dedicated to preserving the fragile eco-systems of the Florida Keys.
