Fall Migration Mania
Flock to the historic Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden to witness the natural wonders of the annual fall migration. It’s time for our annual Lower Keys Fall Migration Mania Birding and Wildlife Adventure. For the 15th year, learn as you enjoy guided tours at one of the most iconic bird and butterfly hotspots in the Lower Keys.
The two-day event is 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 23; and 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 24.
Join the flock and explore the natural wonder of the annual bird and butterfly migration inside the tropical forest with local experts. Or simply explore the beauty and morning peacefulness in Garden during the Early Bird Walk, a self-guided tour for you and your family or friends.
Covid-19 policies: Face coverings are optional. We encourage your to respect others’ personal space.

8 AM Birds in the Forest – Enjoy a guided bird ID sighting tour with bird expert Dr. Mark Whiteside, Florida Department of Health, avid environmentalist and life-long wildlife enthusiast and expert, and find the possible 213 species (Ebird.org) that this Garden is home to or stopover in its hammocks, wetlands and butterfly gardens. $10; reservations requested. Current KWBGS members Free
9: AM Butterflies of the Keys – Enjoy a guided butterfly ID sighting tour with University of Florida’s UF/FWC Butterfly Technician Taylor Hunt. $10; reservations requested. Current KWBGS members Free.
