Celebrate the recovery of the Keys as GardenFest, a fair of nature, arts, crafts, food and entertainment for the whole family, returns to the Key West Tropical Forest & Botanical Garden

  • WHEN: Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 17 and 18,
  • TIME: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.,
  • HOW MUCH: Admission is free.

Shop for plants and artwork amid the cooling greenery that is rapidly regenerating at our arboretum. This is your chance to learn more about native plants from the Garden’s knowledgeable volunteers and acquire some specimens propagated on-site, as well as species brought in by other nurseries. And don’t pass by the information booths – they’ll help with your revival.

A special presentation, “Greening the Keys” by Alison Higgins, Key West Sustainability Coordinator, is scheduled in the Nature Chapel at 1:30 on Saturday afternoon. Find out how we can all be more sensitive to our environment.

Crafts and art feature nature-themes or are made from earth-friendly or recycled materials. Take a break and enjoy entertainment and refreshments in our Courtyard – our “beer garden”!

Yes, there will be food and fun for the little ones, as well; even Kid’s Corner to keep them occupied.
