The Key West Botanical Garden is honored to be recognized for Youth Leadership Month by the Mayor of Key West. The Key West Botanical Garden Education Department was invited to receive a proclamation from Mayor Craig Cates at the May 21, 2013 City Commission Meeting.
The winners of the 3rd annual middle school “Go Green!” Science Fair were also in attendance to share their projects with the City Commissioners and Mayor Craig Cates. Everyone was highly impressed with the student projects and Mayor Craig Cates acknowledged the “Go Green!” Science Fair as an integral part of Youth Leadership Month.
